About Us.

This is not your typical lifestyle blog. Well it is if you live the life of a diver, traveller or even semi-permanent nomad.

As full-time Scuba instructors, our mission has always been to teach people to be the best they can be. We don’t think this has to mean exclusively in person.

This website was made to help everyday people to help self-educate. To gain new skills, qualifications and become more knowledgeable about the world and it’s oceans all from the comfort of their home, hostel or hotel.

To do this we provide simple yet detailed information that is easy to access in today’s fast-paced world. We cover a broad range of topics that cater to the needs of non-divers all the way up to pros. So jump on in!

Learn

Education opens our eyes, excites and inspires us to do more and see more. So why ever stop? Thats why all are resources are designed to be educational above all else.

Love

Let us introduce you to the mysteries and wonders of the blue part of the planet we call home. With an introduction like ours it’s hard not to fall in love.

Conserve

Who better to help shout about the problems our oceans face than the people who love and learn about it? We support sustainable practises and hope that with the influence of this site you do too.

About Katie.

Born on a farm in Zimbabwe and raised between there and the UK, Katie has always had a passion for adventure.

So whilst friends and colleges were out getting their degrees she was determined to get an education for herself. Just maybe not the most conventional one.

After entertaining kids on the slopes of the French Alps and Learning German as an Au Pair in Salzburg she really struck gold.

It was on a trip around South East Asia that she got the best two for one deal ever. Falling in love with diving and then with a man named Magnus. You can guess what happened next.

About Magnus.

Before falling in love with diving Magnus had a long and successful career in Sweden. Working his way from plumber to business owner to manager at a European utilities company. But when diving gets under your skin it’s hard to ignore.

So after splitting his time between two jobs and two countries something had to be done. Leaving your family and life behind is a hard choice to make but in the end it was the right one.

Since then his addiction has just grown. Pushing him to learn more, see more, dive more and teach more.
